In the event of a turbine shutdown, DC21 will inform the customer of the event and provide the options available to get the turbine back into service quickly. The customer has the option to choose the level of response desired.
DC21 will advise the customer on the most cost effective solution to get the turbine back into operation; we take into account parts availability, weather windows / forecast and cost implications of out of hour’s attendance. This enables the customer to make calculated decisions on their investment.
Specialist Turbine Repair Methods
DC21 has invested in the tooling and developed methods to complete the more challenging tasks on the Endurance turbines.
Often this means we can carry out repairs without the need to build a temporary road for a crane to access the site. We have replaced hubs, low speed shafts, and generators without the need for a crane.
Should a more extensive overhaul be needed, DC21 can offer a cost effective package from our dedicated overhaul facility in Huddersfield.
